well here is a fun thing.. i helped build a nice Victorian theatre in SL
and it turned out real nice :)

well everyone i finally finished the tweaking of my wavetable bank and the player is now finished.

the quality is really nice for a software wavetable midi player. again its been over 18 years starting it around 1995. started it on a old 486 and moved up.

im going to include full song demos here. and yes these are from actual midis. it took some time to convert these to demo to you so enjoy :)

hope you like this it was alot of fun making the thing. now what to do with it now. some told me to sell it.. right now it runs in a dos environment so it will open a dosbox for max performance.

for now im going to keep it for myself. i might even use it to produce future songs for videos and or even maybe for my little project i was going to do. :)

ok all this upset me more today and now im officially not going to hang out with this group no more.

only selected people i will be allowed to be seen with.. others are now exempt.


again this upset me big time.. what should they have done? avoid drama and delete the thread.. but nooooo... they want to keep drama going and going.

so as of now no more outings to downtown in costume with the entire group. its sad and most would question why? until most grow up and grow a brain i dont want to be caught up in that.

ok last night a friend showed me some grass he made in second life.
now this looked real.
its all particles and only 1 prim. low lag.

he will hopefully be selling it soon.

well me and a few friends rented a house in SL
so i was decorating it up to look real nice here is a few screen shots of it.














the lab is still getting worked on at the moment.

decided to do some fishing today.
and at the same time cranked water reflections to the max.

well after alot of modifying in sl i came up with the look like me real costume.

well i had fun last night bought a airship/sub.
it was a fancy one so in a friends place we checked you the underwater reef.








then following that we went fishing in his pond.





all in all the place is real fun :)

ok i found two bugs and made them repeat themselves many times. so instead of filling out a bug report that will end up in a bin someplace im putting it here along with pic proof.

first was the worst... random times i had it happen when my chat got corrupted to a point where everyone can see it. it corrupted the skin and all that i wear. or so it looked like a corruption...
i found out the SL viewer has an issue on the mac version when the mac animated dock is in view all the time and the screen is pushed up a bit.

i tested this many times now and auto hiding the dock and stretching the window to full and rebake textures fixes this.. so this is some odd resolution/conflict with the 3d dock.

these bugs can be fixed easily i seen em before in other games.
and yes i do have game design experience. if any staff are forwarded here that see this and are in game i would like to have a chat with you.. this affects game play and should be priority 1.

heh ohh well ill end the post here before i start getting frustrated.

remember setting your dock on autohide and stretching your window full screen fixes this.


now another matter..
another bug i found is the multithreading mode in the game using the advanced menu. this keeps the mac nice and cool but on some systems like mine that is the new macbook it has a major flaw.
i have 2 video card modes in it. the NVIDIA 9400 and NVIDIA 9600. both are easy to switch back and fourth. and both give the same error result in multithreading. i would go to an area. and alot of the textures fail to load. to the point where you are waiting hours for the area to load.. the only way to get it to load is to move the mouse pointer over things. remember when that is off everything is fine.

well i recently discovered second life.. after a few friends help and camping for a while i got a nice avatar. im slowly making it look more like my costume it will be slow tho. :P

well i got my mac a few days back.. i was bringing it up to par with all the stuff i use here.

and yes its running both winXP and mac at the same time. i set it to use my mac firewall so xp has more resources. ill me doing some internet on
XP and mabey gameing since i can now run 3d games in it.. WOOHOO!

but yeah was fun testing it so far.. im going to wait until i move my dsl over to it for a bit since i got to run the cable through the floor to my room.

i would take a picture but my sister has the camera. ill get one soon enough tho. and yes this thing is better than a pc. no crashes or anything.. if windows flips out i tell it to either close or restore before the crash. nice features in that :)
